**Esplanade Golf & Country Club** — Resort-style living with golf membership, wellness center, pools, pickleball/tennis, and full social calendar. Mediterranean-style homes, higher HOA fees but tons of amenities.

**Lakewood National Golf Club** — Arnold Palmer–designed 36-hole course, condos to estate homes, every property includes bundled golf. Big draw for avid golfers.

**Rosedale / Rosedale Golf & Country Club** — Established, gated, golf optional (not bundled), with more mature landscaping. Mix of villas and single-family.

**Country Club at Lakewood Ranch** — Classic, established private club setting with multiple golf courses, dining, tennis, and social life. Variety of neighborhoods inside gates.

**Country Club East** — Newer, luxury side of the Country Club with high-end builders (Cardel, Neal Signature, Stock). Guard-gated, golf optional.

**The Concession** — Ultra-exclusive, estate homes on acre+ lots, Jack Nicklaus course. Price point in the millions. Very private.

**Calusa Country Club** — Smaller, tucked-away community, club vibe without the scale of Country Club/Lake Club.

Family-Friendly + Social Villages

**Central Park** — Designed around a 10-acre park, with playgrounds, ball fields, splash pad, dog park. Great for younger families. Mid-range pricing.

**Bridgewater** — Gated, Lennar-built homes, Mediterranean architecture. Family-friendly with solid amenities.

**Mallory Park** — Pulte community, newer homes, family-friendly amenities including pool, clubhouse, and direct path to Bob Gardner Park.

**Harmony at Lakewood Ranch** — Townhomes and single-family homes, affordable entry point with a community pool and playground.

**Greenbrook Village** — Established, tree-lined streets, multiple parks and trails. Popular with families for good space and walkability.

**Savanna** — Gated, newer (2016+), mix of ranch and two-story homes. Family-oriented amenities with pool, clubhouse, and playground.

**Indigo** — Neal community with mid-size homes, strong community programming, and well-kept amenities.​

Nature-Oriented + Larger Lots

**Greyhawk Landing** — Gated, established, known for nature preserves, lakes, two resort pools, and family-oriented lifestyle.

**Serenity Creek** — Neal community, smaller, quieter, with conservation views.

**Mill Creek** — Not technically part of master-planned LWR, but adjacent. Large lots (½ acre+), no CDD fee. Great for buyers wanting space.

**Preserve at Panther Ridge** — Acre+ homesites, equestrian-friendly, tucked away in nature but still tied to LR schools.

**Braden Woods / Braden Pines** — Older communities with large wooded lots, no cookie-cutter feel. No CDD. More freedom, less HOA oversight.

**Pomello Park** — Rural, equestrian zoning, acreage. Rare for LWR buyers wanting 'country in the city.'

Newer + Affordable (by LWR standards)

**Eagle Trace** — Gated, maintenance-assisted options, smaller homes and villas. Attractive to downsizers.

**Palisades** — Lennar community, smaller gated enclave. Villas and single-family.

**Avaunce** — Townhomes + single-family, gated entry, Lennar build. Lower-maintenance, mid-tier price.

**Woodleaf Hammock** — Gated, newer townhomes + single-family. Convenient location, community pool/playground.

**Lorraine Lakes** — Huge Lennar community, packed with amenities (clubhouse, pools, sports courts, kids programs). Resort feel at mid-range pricing.

**Avalon Woods** — Newer, more attainable, small-scale amenities.

**Sapphire Point** — Pulte-built, mix of floorplans. Mid-tier price point, strong family appeal.

**Solera** — Lennar-built, big community pool/clubhouse, more attainable pricing.

**Sweetwater** — M/I Homes community, modern layouts, strong family amenities.

**Willowbrook** — Townhome community, more affordable option in the LWR area.

Active Adult + 55+

**Del Webb** — Guard-gated, 55+ only. Resort clubhouse, fitness, arts/crafts, tennis, pickleball. Low-maintenance lifestyle.

**Cresswind** — Another 55+ option. Strong focus on wellness, social clubs, and lifestyle programs.

Luxury + Custom Homes

**The Lake Club** — Pinnacle of Lakewood Ranch luxury. Custom estates with Italian/Mediterranean flair, private club with dining, spa, pools, tennis. Guard-gated, multimillion-dollar price point.

**The Isles** — Stock development, upscale homes with coastal/West Indies architecture. Resort pool and amenities.

**Azario** — Brand-new, luxury master-planned with bundled golf (for the golf section), also non-golf neighborhoods. Still developing.
